Basic Electrical Training Syllabus

Training Title:

Basic Electrical Training Syllabus

Training Description:

This course is intended for individuals whose formal training is not in the field of electronics. Electrical controls and electronics are incorporated in almost every technical activity and all technical personnel have to deal, at least to some extent, with some aspects of electrical engineering. A basic understanding of electronics is essential to better perform your main function.

It is not an in-depth electronics course but rather a course aimed at the technicians who require an understanding of basic principles, without the assumption of any prior knowledge of the topic. The course is fast paced and as non-mathematical as possible.

Time Allotment:

5 Days

General Objectives:

· After completing the course the student should be able to analyze a DC or an AC electric circuit using the techniques learned in training.

· In addition, the student should be able to solve circuit problem containing components such as operational amplifiers and ideal transformers.

· The student should be able to perform sinusoidal steady-state power calculations and to analyze a three-phase balanced circuit.
